Nixon is 29, in the final year of his deal with Green Bay, and he fits the way we play. Last season he had 72 tackles and 17 passes defended, plus he led the NFL in kick return yards in 2022 and 2023, and we need a returner too. A late-round pick gets it done.
Donte Jackson was our second-round pick in 2018 and spent six seasons here. He played in Evero's defense, had five picks with the Steelers in 2024 and four more with the Chargers last year. The Chargers are 0-4 and he's a free agent in 2027, so he's gettable.
