Monroe Freeling is still first on the depth chart at right tackle, but he hasn't practiced with that knee, and Taylor Moton went full. I expect Moton to swap in close to game day. Zakee Wheatley is at an 82.6 on Pro Football Focus, fifth of 96 safeties, and he's still behind Tre'von Moehrig. He's earned more playing time, and against the Eagles now might be a good time to do it. Trevor Etienne is coming back, Philly just gave up a 53-yard kickoff return in London, and I'd rather keep Chuba fresh for the offense. Tetairoa McMillan gets Quinyon Mitchell, a first-team All-Pro corner, and Jalen Coker draws Darius Cooper, undrafted against undrafted. My money's on Coker.
A first-round tackle, a late-round safety grading out like a starter, last year's Offensive Rookie of the Year and an undrafted receiver who keeps showing up. That's a strong core, and it's gonna stay this way for a while. Which young Panther has earned more snaps on Sunday??
